Commissioned by Elefant Tracks (The Herd, Urthboy), the clip for Astronomy Class's first single was always going to be an upbeat, summery one. We put a spin on it and ended up with children with oversized heads!

Deep Creative was commissioned to conceptualize live motion graphics for one of Melbourne's biggest urban club nights, Playground Saturdays. The aim was to create an overall aesthetic and an immersive environment for their clientele. So working closely with the nights graphic designers we came up with a constantly evolving array of graphical elements to suit the night.
Deep Creative are pleased to announce the debut video for Obese Record's newest addition, Dialectrix, has been released.
It's currently receiving heavy rotation on Channel [V] and MTV and has been voted "Indie Clip Of The Week" on ABC's Rage website.
Made in collaboration with the totally awesome guys from Studio Coop, who co-conceptualized initial ideas and supplied the amazing visuals, the clip for Outcast drew inspiration from Saul Bass's classic title sequences and more modern animations like Jasper Morello and the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang intro. Super flat imagery combined with grainy textures and retro typography helped create this strange world inhabited by silhouettes who enjoy consuming the negativity all around them.
We are very happy to announce that the video clip for 'Rap Game' by Beat Kamp Music has been picked up by almost all major music channels across Australia, including Channel [V], VH1, MTV and Video Hits. This is following a very successful run in New Zealand, where it was picked up by every pay TV and free to air music channel. Not bad for a new independent artist!
A lone eyeball in roams the city streets looking for his only friend. In days past, they skipped through the park together, played hide and seek and had picnics. When the honeymoon was over, its just one lonely, giant body part looking helplessly for the other. Cue violins?
Filmed in and around Brisbane city. The shoot for Dirty Mobs Head Rock involved turning a nightclub into a scene from Hellraiser and a taxi rank into a scene from The Warriors. There was also plenty of Krumpers (Krumpers are always fun). The breif was to create a hip-hop video with a tip of the hat to heavy metal imagery. Defiantly a fun clip to work on from the cintematographic department. You can see the making of here.
With a turnaround time of just two-weeks, this was one of the fastest clips we had to get out the door. The psychedelic nature of the beat coupled with philosophical lyrics leant itself well to imagery that would be very different to the standard hip-hop fare. Utilising the colour palette from the Clockwork Orange title sequence (blood red and deep blue) we crafted a look by drawing inspiration from Tibetan Mandalas, Dali paintings and 1960’s Op art. The end result was a collection of strange, hallucinogenic sequences that would probably suit a clip for stoner rock as it would do rap.
